Why do we need to feel good?
Wayne Dyer said that feeling good is what you should do every day of your life. He was a man who lived an incredible and enlightened life, so it may be wise to listen to him.
You may make many different choices throughout your day, but one that should be consistent is to feel good. In fact, the benefits that come from it makes it an absolute priority in life. Following are 5 reasons that feeling good should be a priority.
1. It Promotes High Self-Esteem
When you feel good, your self-esteem gets a natural boost. And when that happens, a bunch of good things happen.
– You stop worrying about what other people think.
– You start strutting your sexy self, knowing that you are looking good.
– Your relationships, career, and health improve.
– You are willing to take more chances
– You are more willing to test out your abilities to see how successful you can be.
Self-esteem is the core of everything that you do (or don’t do) in life, and feeling good is a natural pill to ensure your confidence is off the charts.
2. It Just Feels Good
There is a certain type of lightness that comes from feeling good. You have more bounce in your step, more energy, and more desire to do things and meet people.
It is a feeling that makes you grateful to be alive and appreciative of the day. And when gratitude comes into the picture, you can really start shifting your life into something you want it to be.
3. It Sets A Good Example
The most positive thing you can do to influence other people is to feel good about life. Of course, feeling good sets a good example of how to live a happy and fulfilling life, but it goes beyond that.
For example, there are many new YouTube and TV stars popping up that feel good in their skin, regardless of their size. This is such a refreshing thing for the majority of people, especially women who can easily struggle with body confidence on a daily basis. It seems as though a movement is happening where feeling good in your body is becoming more natural.
Feeling good about your body can help you influence struggling kids, adults, and seniors alike. Once they let go of body shame, everything else becomes a cake walk and they can naturally start to feel that high that comes from really feeling good without the nagging voice in the back of their mind.
4. Feeling Good Is An Indicator Of How You Are Living Your Life
Not sure if you are being loving, compassionate, and honest? Just check in to see if you are feeling good. If you are, then your emotions are telling you that your thoughts, actions, and behaviors are full of positivity.
Alternatively, not feeling good is a sign that you are doing something wrong. Maybe you are not putting in effort into the life you want. Maybe you are treating other people poorly. Or, maybe you are lying about something to someone you love. All of these will cause you to not feel good.
5. Feeling Good Is An Indicator You Are Going Somewhere Great
If you are feeling good, then you are making good choices. And if you are making good choices, the chances are very high that you are choosing your way into situations that help advance your happiness even more.
Remember, you attract into your life what you think about and feel the most. If you think good thoughts and feel good emotions, then you are in line to get more of the same over and over and over again.
