Money and Happiness: A Perspective On Money To Keep You Motivated For Success

Many of us have the limiting belief that money can’t buy happiness. We’ve learned that money is evil and having too much of it can make our lives miserable, but that’s a bunch of nonsense. It may be true for evil people who want to do evil things, but good people with good intentions can use their money to create a lot of happiness in the world.

Negative beliefs around money forces us to avoid doing what we need to do to bring more money into our lives and experience the kind of abundance that we want to experience. That’s why we need to always remember why money and happiness really do go together.

Money Allows Us To Help Others

Kindness and happiness go hand in hand. When you do good for others, you increase your self-esteem and psychological well-being, which leads to better thoughts and feelings about yourself and others. It encourages you to do more good for the world and yourself, and the impact that has on everyone’s happiness is huge!

You can always volunteer without spending money, which is a great way to increase your happiness. But, when you have the money, you can make an impact in many ways. You can buy weekly groceries for the food bank. You can donate to charities that you want to donate to. You can even give random gifts of anonymous money to help inspire people who need some inspiration.

And, of course, you can help the people closest to you. Helping your family and friends through tough times or giving them gifts that make them feel good are two ways money and happiness go together. Knowing that you had a positive impact on someone you love is the ultimate reward in life, and money just gives you the power to do it whenever and however you want.

Money Allows Us To Help Ourselves

The gym membership that keeps us healthy requires money. The foods we feed our body for good energy and health requires money. The well working car that gets us to work requires money. The bus pass that gets us to work requires money. On and on it goes. Things that benefit our lives in a big way require money, and when we are able to spend money on those things, we are doing ourselves a favor.

Moreover, money gives us peace of mind and a sense of security. Job loss, illness, and emergencies are all real things that happen in our lives and often require large amounts of money quickly. Even the exterior or interior of our home can have a mishap that requires money.

When you are making a good amount of money, have money saved away for emergencies, have no debt on your shoulders, and are able to provide yourself with everything you need, you feel less stressed and more secure. That doesn’t just benefit your happiness now, it also benefits your health, which can impact your happiness in the future.

Money And Happiness Can Go Together

As you work towards achieving more success, becoming debt free, and have a positive balance in your bank account month after month, remember the happiness that can actually come from money. Good people like you will do good things with your money, so see it for the real value that it has.
