Life can throw you a bunch of crap, but you get to choose how you react to it and how you feel about it. In fact, your thoughts play the biggest role in every outcome you experience. The awesome news is that you can shift your thoughts in a way that helps you experience the outcome you want. So, how powerful are your thoughts?
Your Thoughts Determine Your Overall Life
What you think about doesn’t just determine how you feel. It also determines what you attract into your through various ways, including how much action take.
Your thoughts determine what actions you will (or will not) take, which determines what you bring into your life. Taking action is important for manifesting the life we want. Without action, we can’t bring anything into our life.
For instance, if you think you are not attractive enough to be wanted by someone, then you may not try to talk to that person that you are interested in. And, if you don’t ever talk to someone you are interested in, you won’t ever attract a relationship into your life.
That’s just a small example, and you can apply that truth to a million things that happen in your life. Your career, your home, your friendships, your family relationships, your health, and everything else is dependent on you having positive thoughts that help you go after the life you want.
The Placebo Effect
The placebo effect is a real thing. If you want to learn more about it, read ‘You Are The Placebo by Joe Dispenza’. In the book, he gives examples and proof that the placebo effect is working right now in your life. Most interestingly, he talks about the quantum field and the quantum mind.
Your thoughts are energy. Quantum physics has proved this. And everything that is physical or happening right now started from that energetic thought. Quantum physics has shown us that this word is a very flexible place, rather than unchangeable, and our thoughts are what cause it to change.
In short, science has shown that your attention and intention are powerful. So, the placebo effect is a tool that you can use for the life you want. Think it so, believe it, and it will be.
Your Thoughts Make You Smarter
Want to be smarter? Use the power of your thoughts.
In a study done by psychologists Ulrich Weger and Stephen Loughnan, people were gathered to answer questions. One group was told that they were going to be flashed the correct answer on their screen, too fast for their conscious mind to pick up, but slow enough that their subconscious mind would see it. The flash consisted of random letters rather than the answers, but the group that thought they were seeing the answers did better on the test. In other words, they thought that they were going to get more right, and so they did.
Therefore, expect that you can find success in everything you do, and that positive expectation can help you actually find the success you want.
Knowing How Powerful Your Thoughts Are, Don’t Let Others Control Them
I hope you can see how powerful your thoughts are. Too many people don’t maintain control of their thoughts, and by doing so they give away their power. They let other people control how they think, which ultimately controls how they feel.
To maintain control over your thoughts, don’t take what anyone says as absolute truth. Question what they say. Add your own knowledge and beliefs into the equation. Decide which way your thoughts are going to go by yourself.
For instance, let’s say you get a flat tire. You may not be too upset about it, but if you are with someone who feels as though it is a big obstacle to having the day you want, then you may let them convince you of that. If you do, a situation that wasn’t too upsetting can become a disaster that makes you feel horrible, angry, and upset. And when that happens, your thoughts will start to set the tone for the day.
